Short version

The mimicdm desktop app is local-first. Campaign data — saves, transcripts, audio, character sheets — lives on the host machine. When you use a local model via LM Studio, nothing leaves the room during play. When you use OpenRouter, prompt text for that turn travels to OpenRouter only; no mimicdm server sits in the path.

This website ships with no third-party trackers. We plan to add Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving and cookieless. That is the extent of it.

What we collect

An email address, if you join the waitlist. Nothing else. We use it to tell you when your round opens, and then to delete it if you ask.

This page is a placeholder.

A full, legible privacy notice will replace this before public launch — including data retention windows, third-party processor list, and a contact for data requests. If you want to pre-empt it, email hello@mimicdm.com.
